Saturday AM trivia
ByMorning ladies and gents.
Currently digging around to see if there is anything I really like for you today. I am sure I’ll manage to come up with something, although the remaining long positions going down to the wire is enough of a distraction for me personally at the moment.
Before I do get onto today’s action, I thought I would canvas opinion on something.
This weekend I plan to pull together my season long analysis – the sort of stuff from last year that brought about this post on last season’s profit sensation Notts County…
but before I do I thought I would take a stab from everyone as to:
a) Which Premier League team will be the most profitablt this season on a level 5% stakes approach; and
b) Which team will be the most profitable across all the leagues?
If you already know the answers please don’t spoil it for everyone else by “guessing”.
I honestly have no idea, but have two teams in mind… I’ll throw them in the mix after a couple of guesses.
Cheers

Stab in the dark…maybe Wolves on account of the wins they’ve had (Chelsea, United, City at home, Liverpool and Villa away) and Millwall on account of on account of their expected position back in August?
Eugene – top shout early doors. I think it has to be Wolves as well. Some of those wins would have been at huge prices.
Millwall and interesting shout – a team I almost went long on points at 55 in August
Error
They will be up there, but there are a couple I think would have made you more.
West brom must be up there as well – clear over performance this season coupled with a few chunky away wins.
No idea about all leagues though!
How about Reading over the last half of the season? Come from nowhere to be in the play offs.
QPR? they were some massive away prices at the start of the season
Blackpool?
Top PL earners are currently neck & neck but easy enough to work out the two teams involved……….. as for the rest of the league, my records indicate a League 1 club.
I thought Blackpool based on their first half of the season and most were away too from memory!!
No idea about all leagues!
timetough – Not sure it is close after yesterday’s results!
For those that follow me on Twitter all of this will be redundant now, but look out for some decent case studies at the end of the season.
Cheers
Hi Blez,
I think Wolves were only around 2.50 for their win yesterday, can’t see their last home game v Blackburn being as generous as that. Blackpool were around 2.0 for the 7 goal thriller v Bolton and likely to be around the 5.0 mark should they get an unlikely result against the champs next week. Still close on my figures.
Talking of big earners, have you seen the returns for Mainz in the German Bundesliga, 24.90 to a 1 point level stake, nice.
Looking forward to future posts.
cheers
