Why the Baggies will go down passing & moving…
Posted by: | CommentsEvening guys.
This was originally going to be one of my mammoth monologues, but given that it is 6pm on New Year’s Eve and that many of you have raised a number of the points I was going to make on the site already here, for once in my life I am going to try and keep this short and to the point.
BOTW Reader Poll – Premier League Relegation – Opinions wanted
Posted by: | CommentsCome on then chaps and chapesses.
I have my view. But before I give it to you I want to know what you all think.
It has been a lively few weeks down at the foot of the table with wins for West Ham, Fulham and most recently Wolves really tightening things up down at the foot of the table.
Even Birmingham picked up a “bonus” point against United the other night.
Here is how things currently stand:

So… who is it going to be then?! Please enlighten me.
I will be back with my view (and a bet of course!) at some point before the games kick off on New Year’s day.
Sadly I don’t have time to write any of the 9 articles I have got planned sadly. Let’s hope the prices hang around into next week for you all.
With 19 posts, December has been my second busiest month to date. I expect January will also be a very busy month for the site.
With the evening jolly that lies ahead, my only tip for today can be found here:

Why Birmingham City will definitely stay up
Posted by: | CommentsEveryone should know by now that I have a bit of a fetish for Birmingham City. I like to think that I have it completely under control, but I know there have been whisperings that my love for Alex McLeish’s men is bordering on irrational – a cardinal sin here at BOTW!
Everyone should also know by now that I have a lot of a fetish for Manchester United.
And as such, I settled into my sofa on Tuesday night very much looking forward to seeing how SAF’s men would fare in attempting to penetrate one of the league’s best backlines without many of our more creative players.
Better late than never
Posted by: | CommentsWhat a great day for QPR today with a convincing away win at Coventry, who are a decent and improving side under Aidy Boothroyd these days.
Cardiff’s inconsistency looks set to continue ad infinitum. Seven losses in 23 games is just not going to cut the Championship form mustard.
It’s good news all around really for UK football. We get Warnock back in the Premier League, and love him or hate him, he is great value. Personally, I love him.
And it also means a long overdue return to Loftus Road for the fans of the Premier League clubs, to see more magic like this:
In 1 min 12 seconds of footage there we managed to get Teddy Sheringham, Darren Anderton, Ray Wilkins, Andy Sinton, Les Ferdinand and the main man himself Ian Holloway.
90′s football legends, all of them. Cracking stuff.
And seeing this clip below again, it is even better than I remembered it being. And I don’t just meant the haircut!
That honestly might be one of the top 10 individual goals of all time?! Or am I over reacting here?
Anyway, moral of the story is, bite any of the bookies hands off while they leave the 1.8 hanging around for a solid few points…
I was going to post this yesterday having backed it myself at 2.1, but I didn’t get around to doing it due to writing my other posts. Given today’s swing, I am still more than happy with it even at this price.

Premier League Top Goalscorer Market – Update
Posted by: | CommentsWell Didier failed to get on the scoresheet this weekend, even against his favourite opposition.
Top credit to Arsenal for a briliant performance last night. That will have shut up some of the “pundits” and “knowledgeable sports writers” for a bit. And Nani.
