Pretty reading

By

As I don’t seem to be able to win a bet for love nor money at the moment, I thought I would take the small victories whilst I can.

Whilst Newcastle and Villa are going through their warm-ups this lunchtime, the Premier League table current makes for very pretty reading for BOTW followers (see here).

Birmingham’s gritty, if somewhat unspectacular start to the season fills me with great confidence that my assessment of them having minimal downside risk from 43 points was correct.

And Bolton’s impressive start to the season also gives me hope that we have identified this season’s true sleeper as they emerge as a well established mid-table team.

Those that chose to get in on the spread are already in profit after two games!

Not that I will be cashing out mind.  We might need every one of those points given the state of my long term baseball bets…

    Tidy start that Blez.

Was wondering if anyone had seen enough to suggest that Zigic is going to be the solution to their lack of goals. I can’t say I was overly impressed with him at the World Cup and whilst I haven’t seen much of him as yet, all reports suggest he is going to need some time.

Quite a nice summary on Birmingham here..

Cheering for Bolton is taking some getting used to but at leat they’re a little easier on the eye these days. Kevin Davies for England? Owen Coyle seems to think so!

      Cheers Dayno,

I think that summary of Birmingham is pretty good – and all positive for us.

A CNZ addition would be great news. I hold high hopes for our +43 spread selection for the season.
