Lessons “relearned”
Posted by: | CommentsAs I sit here watching both MOTD and my beloved Giants simultaneously at 11:30pm on a Saturday night, having enjoyed a very relaxing (and sober) evening, it seems an appropriate time to pass on some lessons which I “relearned” earlier this week.
Always remember folks:
- Prepare in detail before placing any bet;
- Never give in to the spontaneous gambling monkey when he raises his cheeky head; and
- Never, ever, under any circumstances, gamble when drunk.
Now, I know what you are thinking.
“Surely BOTW doesn’t go on wild, drunken gambling sprees?!”
Thankfully, I was not retaught these lessons by a spate of rash, unprepared, drunken gambling. I may even have reaffirmed this knowledge without it costing me a penny.

I guess deadlines focus the mind, eh?!
Totesport are offering a “Without the Big 6″ market i.e. excluding “the Big 4″, Man City and Tottenham.
Not sure I would be calling them “the Big 6″ just yet, I would say that is a bit of a punt.

There are 42 league fixtures taking place today across the top four English divisions.
Of those 42 fixtures, how many of the home sides would you guess are “odds on”?
10? 12? More?

Let’s get onto the more subjective side and have a look at a few sides in more detail and determine whether or not there is any value for us to exploit.
Before I get onto my actual selections, I will just have a quick run through a few “close calls” that have failed to make the cut.
After all, when striving to be a profitable sports bettor, the bets you don’t make are just as important as the bets you do make.
