Posted by: | CommentsEvening all. Nothing to report tonight. Most of the potential value was last night, and even that I decided wasn’t quite good enough.
So tonight is certainly a night to stand pat and hopefully enjoy a bit of anti-gambling.
Hopefully back tomorrow night with my thoughts on the weekend, rather than Friday for once.

Zut Alors! Nil Point!
Posted by: | CommentsWell well well. After over six months, that is possibly the first time I have had a completely fruitless multi-bet weekend. Newport’s failure to hold on to a 2-0 lead at home to Welling with 30 minutes to play was only the second time my main football selection for a weekend has been unsuccessful this season.
Now although the end of such a run is always a shame, it gives me a chance to build on my introduction to pricing post from last week and to discuss probability and variance further.
I have repeatedly stressed throughout the season that BOTW’s recent hit rates were unsustainable. And that is demonstrated by the fact that I am writing this post entering the second week of February with two thirds of the season already gone. Let’s use this weekend’s results as a little example.
